A "Quintastic" Week!!!

We had such a great week learning all about the sound /qu/ this week...and our sound lesson even spilled over to all of our learning lessons!!! The students incorporated the quints into all aspects of our daily routines, and had so much fun learning!!!

Quints learned how to add tens using ten rods...

Quints watched over us as we created a

 noun/verb/adjective chart

But, as in life, all good things must come to an end...so we had an ice-cream sandwich birthday party for the quints...

and gave them a kiss good-bye...

can I just say oh.my.word how precious is this????

We continued our learning of plants, with plant themed Math and Language Arts centers...

We also created a graph on 

"Which Type of Plant is Your Favorite?"

We analyzed our results using a bar-graph, tallies, and completing number sentences...
