Our Official 100th Day of School!!!
Can you believe that we have been in school for 100 days!!! The students had a GREAT TIME celebrating this day (actually we celebrated over 2 days!!!) Here's a look at some of the activities we participated in:
We first figured out that 100 seconds is 1 minute, and 40 seconds. We then used the SmartBoard to display a huge countdown clock to help us know when 100 seconds have passed and when to end our activity.
Students writing as many words as they could in 100 seconds.
Blowing as many bubbles as they can in 100 seconds.
More bubble blowing!!! (SmartBoard countdown in background)
Student's 100 collections on display.
Completing as many jumping jacks as we can in 100 seconds...even
our Principal participated!!
More Bubbles!!!
Writing as many tallies as we can in 100 seconds.
Measuring how far 100 steps will take us from the front of the school...
it led us all the way down the stairs to almost our hallway!!!
